Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Almarai Co on Monday announced that the company’s shareholders had approved a cash dividend of 8.5% of the share’s nominal value, or SAR 0.85 per share, for 2018 during an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held the previous day.
Dividends, which will be paid by the Saudi British Bank (SABB) on 15 April, are to be distributed to shareholders registered at the end of the second trading day following the EGM date, according to a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
For the full-year 2018, the food and beverage firm’s net profits fell 7.9% to SAR 2 billion, compared to SAR 2.18 billion in 2017.
